Support Aidan in his Fight with Evan's Syndrome

Donation protected
All Donations go to Support Aidan’s Battle against a Rare Autoimmune Disease called Evans Syndrome:

Aidan is our 19-year-old son and was suddenly hospitalized January 1st, 2025. He spent 56 days in the Cancer Center at UMMC in Baltimore. Aidan underwent hundreds of blood tests, multiple biopsies, many radiological scans, and two surgeries. After many negative results, multiple medications, and some major scares, they settled on a diagnosis.

This whole ordeal started with a cough that would not go away and then bloody noses, final this lead to blood tests. The original blood test showed that Aidan’s Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells and Platelets were essential nonexistent.

Aidan is currently recovering at home. We transport him multiple times a week to the hospital to have blood tests done and receive medications. Aidan’s diagnosis of Evans Syndrome weakens his immune system and leaves him more susceptible to infections.

Aidan’s current health condition and diagnosis is taking a toll on him and us. He is normally working, hanging with friends, trying new restaurants, and helping at the store or shows. Evan since being released from the hospital his comprised immune system limits his ability to interact like he used to. Aidan’s ability to work is limited, hanging out in large groups is not an option, and who wants to only hang with their parents. We are working to keep his spirits up; Legos are helping, PC gaming, and he might finish writing his D&D campaign.

Thank you for all your support. It means a lot when customers notice Aidan is missing from the store or shows, also that our customers understand our ever-changing schedule.

The donations received will be put towards getting Aidan the care he needs. Insurance doesn't cover everything.
Thank you for your donations, care, and support, throughout this journey. We appreciate it more than words can express.

What is Evans syndrome…
a rare autoimmune disorder where the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys red blood cells (leading to hemolytic anemia), platelets (resulting in thrombocytopenia), and white blood cells (neutropenia).
• Red blood cells (hemolytic anemia): Weakness, fatigue, paleness or jaundice, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, fainting.
• Platelets (thrombocytopenia): Increased bruising and prolonged or trouble stopping bleeding. Your blood doesn’t clot.
• White blood cells (neutropenia): Increased risk of infection and fever. A common cold can put you in the hospital.
Treatment: Treatment focuses on managing the symptoms and preventing complications. Trying to maintain high counts of RBC, WBC, and Platelets so you can fight an infection if you get one.
