Hi, my name is Ahmond and I am going to study Integrated Marketing Communications this fall at The University of Mississippi. I am also an alumnus of Itawamba Community College. Although I am proud of my latest accomplishment, I am in need of your financial assistance. I am a first-generation African-American college student and also a type one diabetic. I am an overachiever and a hard worker. I know the true meaning of perseverance and persistence.

It would mean so much to me to graduate once again and defeat the odds that were set against me. I would like to make a difference in the world and achieve many great things. I am ready to embark on this new journey, but would need some help to fund my degree.

I am remaining optimistic for the journey ahead. While I hate asking for things, I know I am too close to finishing the journey to give up now. Therefore, I am putting my pride aside and asking for help from anyone who feels it in their heart to give. Even if there is nothing that you can give, sharing and praying for me means just as much.
