Help Reunite Our Family & Cover Urgent Legal and Living Expenses
Hello everyone,
My name is Elizabeth Nenni, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. I try to keep my life private and out of the limelight but I am in a serious and desperate situation. My husband, Ahmed Nenni, has recently been detained by ICE, and our world has been turned upside down. We are currently facing an incredibly difficult time - emotionally, legally, and financially.
Ahmed and I got married on April 17th 2025 at our local chapel. However, ICE officials have not deemed his status legitimate even though we are legally and happily married. He was working on the road as a truck driver and was taken by ICE while he was trying to provide for our family. My husband has no criminal record and is a tax-paying individual. We are doing everything we can to work through the legal process so he can safely return home, but there is no guaranteed time for him to come home. I am expecting this situation to last for around 6 months to a year, maybe more. Unfortunately, this process comes with overwhelming costs. Between legal fees, potential bail bond expenses, and everyday bills that he used to help cover, our finances have been stretched beyond what I can handle alone.
We are raising funds to help with:
- Legal representation and immigration filing fees
- Possible ICE bond if granted
- Household bills and rent while I manage things on my own
- Transportation and communication costs for legal appointments and updates
