Last Hope for a Broken Family in Gaza--Support Ahmed
Donation protected
My name is Marie Cartier, a social worker in San Francisco, and I have been in contact with the Al Louh family for about a year. They asked me to create this campaign as they have had trouble accessing funds from previous campaigns. I will be receiving the funds on their behalf and sending it along to them. Please see Ahmed's words below.
Hi,
My name is Ahmed Al Louh, 21 years old. I live in Gaza and now I am displaced in Deir al-Balah. As you know, for more than 8 months we have been going through very difficult circumstances in Gaza (the war on Gaza). During the war, I lost many things dear to my heart. I lost my home, my studies, my work, and everything we left behind in northern Gaza.
My father passed away two years before the war, and during this period, I was trying to help my family by working in addition to my studies. My family's living situation was good. My mother and I both worked in simple jobs through which we could complete the education of my younger siblings and provide for their needs.
Since October 7, my mother and I lost our jobs and now we are going through very difficult circumstances. We can barely provide food and water for my siblings. We cannot meet their needs due to the difficult living conditions we are going through.
Due to the severity of the suffering we are going through now, some friends told me that I could collect donations to meet my needs and the needs of my family.
So, I created this campaign and I hope that you will help me and look at me and my family with mercy. Through your donations, I can meet the needs of my family and restore their hope for a decent life.
Please help me, my mother, and siblings need your help.
Thank you
Addendum: Ahmed's niece Rana suffers from severe food allergies and needs extra support during this time of famine.
