Help Ahmed's family.
Donation protected
My name is Neelam. I am a qualified primary teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. I specialise in the early years and run a support page for parents to help them learn about child development. Ahmed contacted me on this support page. I have been supporting his family with basic rights such as food, water and shelter since April 2024. During this time, Ahmed's wife was 6 months pregnant.
Ahmed and his wife have three children, Basil (aged 9 years) Joanna (aged 6 years) and their baby born amongst the chaos (aged 5 months).
No words can describe the feeling of communicating with them while bombs are being dropped and tanks are being blown up. No words to describe how it feels when Ahmed says he needs to go help search for wounded and dead bodies. No words that can describe my feelings when I witness Basil reciting verses from the Quran to me in his beautiful voice. The same boy who waits for hours in a line hoping to get water, only to find that there is none left. There are no words that can describe how it feels to talk to a mother having to give birth in the worst conditions, a mother who is hungry and without any medical or emotional support.
With thanks to God and thanks to the generous donations from my friends and family, we were able to privately provide them with food, water and shelter temporarily. But they need long-term support.
The funds raised from this campaign are sent to Ahmed directly when the family needs it.
Please donate and share this campaign with others so we can provide ongoing support to ensure they don’t have to go hungry or thirsty again. I pray this campaign can help them rebuild their lives one day, rather than survive each day paying extortionate prices for basic rights.
Please feel free to message me with any questions or queries.
We ask God to accept our efforts and relieve the suffering of all the innocent people who are affected. Ameen.
