Support Ahmadullah – U.S. Combat Interpreter, Father of 5,

My name is Ahmadullah. I came to the United States with my wife and five young kids through the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program after faithfully serving the U.S. mission in Afghanistan.

For years, I stood shoulder-to-shoulder with American troops as a Combat Interpreter with U.S. Special Forces, Marines, and later as a Political Advisor with the Defense Attaché Office (DAO) at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul. I risked my life daily to protect U.S. service members and to support America’s mission overseas.

Sadly, my service has made me a target even here. Not long ago, I was brutally attacked and stabbed multiple times because of my work for America. I nearly lost my life. While I survived, I continue to face serious injuries one of my legs still requires ongoing treatment and rehabilitation.

Today, I am facing:

• Mounting medical bills from emergency surgeries and hospital stays,

• The need for further treatment to recover use of my injured leg,

• The responsibility of caring for my five children under the age of 13 while also trying to heal physically and emotionally.
