It is with shattered hearts that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Ahmad Shah.

Ahmad was only 21 years old. He was a kind, humble, hardworking, and deeply loving young man who touched everyone around him with his gentle heart and warm spirit. Anyone who knew him knew the kind of person he was, always respectful, caring, smiling, and willing to help others no matter what he was going through himself.

Like so many young immigrants, Ahmad came to the United States alone carrying dreams far bigger than himself. He faced countless barriers, sacrifices, and hardships in pursuit of a better future, not only for himself, but for the family he loved so deeply. Every step he took was with the hope of supporting his parents, his three younger sisters, and his brother who are living in Istanbul, Turkey.

Tragically, his life was cut short in a devastating car accident alongside his best friend. The suddenness of this loss has left his family, friends, and community in complete shock and heartbreak. No parent should ever have to experience the pain of losing their child so suddenly, especially from thousands of miles away.

Because he was living alone in the US, his family faced the enormous burden of transporting his body back to Turkey so he could finally rest beside his loved ones. The transportation costs alone exceeded $15K, not including funeral and burial expenses.

Ahmad had his entire future ahead of him. He had dreams, goals, and a life full of promise. His absence has left a painful emptiness in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
