My name is Mohammad Qadir, and I am the father of Ahmad Muslim & Ahmad Mozamel.
On the morning of Tuesday, January 27, my 19-year-old son Ahmad and his older brother, Ahmed Mozamel, were involved in a horrific car accident with a semi-truck while returning home from a late-night work shift in Fremont, California. In a single moment, our family’s life was shattered.
Ahmad suffered severe traumatic brain injuries and is currently in a coma, fighting for his life. Every day we sit beside him, praying for a miracle, uncertain of what tomorrow will bring. Watching my son lie unconscious, unable to speak or respond, is a pain no parent should ever have to endure. His condition remains critical, and the fear of losing him weighs heavily on our hearts every second.
His older brother, Ahmed Mozamel, was also seriously injured. He sustained deep lacerations to his head and arm that required numerous stitches and staples. Although he survived, he is in constant pain and facing a long and difficult recovery—both physically and emotionally—while also carrying the trauma of nearly losing his younger brother.
Ahmad is a young man with his entire life ahead of him. He is loving, hardworking, and full of hope for the future. This sudden tragedy has left our family broken with grief, fear, and unimaginable sorrow. Alongside this emotional devastation, we are now facing overwhelming financial hardship. The medical bills, intensive care costs, rehabilitation, and daily living expenses are far beyond what we can manage. We urgently and desperately need financial support to continue caring for our sons and to give Ahmad every possible chance to survive and recover.
We humbly ask for your help during this darkest time in our lives. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference for our family. Your support will help cover critical medical expenses, ongoing treatment, and basic necessities while we remain by our sons’ sides. We truly cannot do this alone.
From the depths of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, compassion, prayers, and generosity. Your support gives us strength and hope during this unbearable time.
