Support Ahinke’s Kitchen

On July 5, 2024, our restaurant, along with other Nigerian food vendors, faced significant setbacks at an outdoor Nigerian music festival due to mismanagement and negligence by the event organizers. Despite paying substantial vendor fees and ensuring compliance with all health regulations, Alberta Health officials informed us that we were not included on the permit and could not serve food. This resulted in all our prepared food being wasted and a significant financial loss.

This unexpected closure has cost us thousands of dollars and derailed our renovation plans for AHINKE’S Nigerian Brunch.
