We are raising funds to support the participation of Haiti’s Delegate to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) at the Council Meeting and World Congress in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2026.
The Association of Occupational Therapists of Haiti (AHE) is a small but deeply committed professional community working to strengthen rehabilitation services in a country facing ongoing humanitarian and health challenges. Our presence at the WFOT Council and Congress is not symbolic — it is essential.
Attending this global gathering allows our Delegate to:
- Represent Haiti’s perspective in international decision-making
- Bring back critical knowledge, skills, and updated global guidelines
- Build partnerships that support training, mentorship, and capacity building
- Ensure that low-resource and disaster-affected contexts are not forgotten in the global OT dialogue
Because AHE is a very small association with limited resources, we cannot cover the cost of sending our Delegate to Thailand. The travel, registration, and logistical costs are far beyond what our members can fund.
That is why we are launching this GoFundMe campaign.
