She is recovering from a serious medical situation and is currently on oxygen, unable to work, and facing a long and uncertain recovery. As a freelance artist in America—like so many creatives—she does not have health insurance. Along with mounting medical bills, she is also facing the very real loss of income, daily living expenses, and the ongoing costs required to follow her medical care and recovery plan.
