My name is Valeria, and I am a single mother of three wonderful children. I am the sole provider of my household and work every day to support my family without any financial assistance.

In August of last year, my son Agustín fractured his femur while playing soccer — the sport he loves and a big part of his dreams and goals. What initially seemed like a simple fracture led to the discovery of something more serious: an Aneurysmal Bone Cyst, a bone tumor that has been growing and weakening his bone.

Since then, we have endured months of medical tests, constant monitoring, casts, immobilization, and uncertainty. Recent imaging showed that the tumor has grown, and we are now awaiting a biopsy to confirm that it is completely benign, as doctors strongly believe. With faith, we hope the results will fully rule out cancer so we can proceed with the surgery that is currently scheduled.

If the biopsy results are not favorable, Agustín may need a different and more complex type of surgery and follow-up treatments.

This surgery is essential to preserve his leg, strengthen the bone, and give him the opportunity to one day return to the soccer field. Soccer is not just a sport for him — it is his passion and part of who he is.

At this time, I am facing serious financial hardship. My accounts are in the negative, and I currently do not have stable income. The medical expenses, imaging studies, hospital visits, and upcoming surgery have been overwhelming. As the only provider for my family, I cannot manage these costs alone.
