Our son Agustin’s journey has been heartbreaking and difficult. Last July, he went to the hospital for the first time after experiencing serious health issues. He was admitted three more times downtown, but doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong until they noticed he had lost 30 pounds. After more testing, we received the devastating news: Agustin was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

In January, he began chemotherapy and is now also undergoing radiation treatments. The treatments have taken a toll on his body, and he has missed a lot of work. On top of battling cancer, he is struggling with overwhelming medical bills that have reached $300,000, while also trying to pay rent and care for his beautiful 3-year-old daughter.

As his parents, we are doing everything we can, but it’s more than we can handle alone. If you can help in any way—whether it’s financial support for his medical bills, helping him keep a roof over his head, or simply lifting him up in your prayers—we would be forever grateful. Every act of kindness makes a difference and helps Agustin focus on healing and being the father his little girl needs.
