At Agriponic Farms, we’re changing that story.

We believe every head of lettuce, every apple, every tomato deserves a purpose — and every person deserves access to healthy food.

Our Mission

Agriponic Farms is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that grows, recovers, and preserves food to feed people — not landfills.

Using innovative hydroponic AgriPods, we grow produce year-round using 95% less water than traditional farms. We rescue surplus food from local farms and distributors and transform it into nutritious, long-lasting meals.

Through our Core-4 process — Harvest, Prepare, Preserve, and Reserve — we’re creating a complete circular system that makes food recovery scalable, sustainable, and local.

What We’ve Built So Far

✅ Our first AgriPod is growing fresh lettuce and greens in Freeport, Florida.

✅ We’ve partnered with local farms and markets to begin recovering surplus food.

✅ We’ve developed freeze-dried meal recipes that turn recovered food into shelf-stable nutrition.

To fully bring the mission to life, we’re raising funds to build three key innovations that will power our future:

‍ The ChefPod — a mobile commercial kitchen to prepare and package meals made from recovered ingredients, and teach culinary recovery skills to volunteers and students.

❄️ The ColdPod — a freeze-drying facility that locks in nutrition and shelf life, preserving food that would otherwise spoil.

The SiloPod — a long-term storage and distribution unit that ensures our preserved food reaches families year-round.

Together, these Pods will allow us to recover thousands of pounds of fresh produce every month and feed hundreds of families in our community.
