Greetings, I recently seriously broke my arm—100% bone break at the elbow—and I also suffered a lot of blood loss on December 24, then had emergency surgery on December 25 and reconstructive surgery on December 29. I was released from the hospital on January 2 but my arm is still not usable. I have long believed in self-productivity to achieve self-support as an adult, but everyone needs support from family and community sometimes. So I am asking for help in this very difficult period. This is the worst injury in my life. I was hospitalized 8 days and came close to dying on December 24 as I bled out, my blood pressure dropped to 60 and I was too unstable for pain medicine, and I went into shock and couldn't talk. I have since gone through two surgeries and now am confined at home with no income currently. Hospital bills are already overwhelming and I haven't even finished PostOp yet. My arm hurts and my hand is swollen. There is also uncertainty if the bones will grow back together (I was told it would take six weeks to know) and a third surgery is possible and likely, also a lot of metal was inserted into my arm. Even if everything goes well I will not be able to return to work until at least March, and then only light lifting. Either way I need help and I appreciate donations. Thank you for your consideration and support. God bless.
