My mom passed away in December, and I was her sole caregiver for 38 years. While it was challenging at times, I loved my mom deeply and would have done it all over again. It was an honor to serve her and be by her side. Her disability took away her ability to move as she wanted, but her love, kindness, and faith in God never left her. To everyone who knew her, she was a source of smiles and warm hugs.
Paying for her funeral greatly reduced my ability to keep up with my own bills, which I had always managed to pay on time. Now, with the remaining balance and other overdue expenses hanging over my head, I feel constant anxiety about whether I can get everything paid. I live simply—nothing fancy—and just need to replenish what I lost, pay the balance on the funeral, catch up on overdue bills, and have enough extra so I don't feel stressed about ordering groceries or maintaining my car. At 69 years old, with advanced knee problems, I am unable to go out and find work.
Any amount, big or small, would be much appreciated. Give with your heart, and you will truly be blessed. Much love to everyone, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
