I was the caretaker for my disabled mom, Lynda aka Lynus (Lambert) Harring. After a long period of illness culminating in a months-long nursing facility stay, we were hopeful a vascular surgery would return some of her mobility. While the surgery was successful, her body couldn't handle the stress and succumbed to toxic shock a day later.
Her sudden passing has left me heartbroken and facing a lot of uncertainty. Losing her on my birthday was especially difficult, but I find comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain. Our lives were closely connected, and I did everything I could to support her through her challenges.
Because my mom didn’t have life insurance and our finances were intertwined, I’m now facing a number of unexpected expenses. On top of the emotional devastation, I have to manage bills, final arrangements not including cremation, and the reality that I’ll need to move within the next three to five months.
Please note final arrangements in the form of cremation have already been GENEROUSLY taken care of!
It’s overwhelming to navigate all of this at once, even with the vocal support of so many friends and family already. I’m doing my best to take things one day at a time.
I’m beyond appreciative for all the support everyone has shown me so far, and I’m equally thankful for any help people can give—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my story. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me as I work to rebuild and find stability after such a difficult loss.
