Jesse’s mother-in-law is a retired landscaper who has always found joy in the beauty of her home on top of the hill. She lives alone with her loyal dog, surrounded by the nature she loves. But recently, a severe ice storm swept through her area, causing multiple trees to fall in her yard. One of those trees crashed into her house and deck, leaving her without power since March 15th. She had to pay a significant amount just to have the tree removed from her roof, and there’s still a lot of clean-up left to do. Without home insurance, she’s facing these challenges on her own, and the anxiety has been overwhelming.

She has only one daughter, Jesse’s wife, and most of her family has passed away except for one uncle who lives far away in Florida. Jesse and his wife want nothing more than to help, but they don’t have the equipment or resources to handle the clean-up and repairs themselves. They know how much their mother-in-law has given to her community over the years, and they’re hoping that her hometown can come together to support her now, just as she has supported others in the past.
