Support After Hit & Run Accident

On August 4th, 2024, I was a victim of a hit and run accident that left me with life threatening injuries, as well as irreversible after effects that I am still processing. Unfortunately I blacked out during the incident but was found unconscious approximately 20 feet away from my vehicle. Based on the damages to my body and the vehicle, it appears that I was outside of my pulled over vehicle when a reckless driver hit us both. We thank God Almighty that a bystander heard the collision, came to the scene and immediately called the police.

My injuries consist of a concussion, internal bleeding in my brain, and a fractured pelvis, not to mention immense bruising and scarring to my face and arms. Thankfully, God has allowed me to go from needing intensive care to stable condition in just THREE days! That’s how quickly God can turn a situation around! I’m currently home with some pain & slight memory loss but healing beautifully nonetheless.

Although I am celebrating small victories in my healing, there is still the reality of dealing with a life threatening incident. I’ve been out of work for weeks now, out of a car, and dealing with both healing and managing a household, not to mention a new school year that is upon us. So many of you have reached out, prayed for me and offered to assist however I may need it. This seems like the best way to fill everyone in and allow you all to help however you can.
