Guelila's Father recently passed unexpectedly in January of this year and the loss has left her and her family devasted. After burying her father in Ethiopia, Guelila is still grieving the unexpected loss of her father and it has hindered her and her family financially. Also, shortly after the death of her father, Guelila has fallen ill and is unable to return to classes this semester.

This money will aid in her living expenses and outstanding debts from her University housing lease. This money will also go towards maintaining her livelihood as she grieves.
