My partner Erik was recently the victim of a traumatic dog attack, suffering more than 33 bites from four dogs. The injuries required immediate hospitalization, and the road to recovery includes ongoing doctor visits and specialized home care supplies. This unexpected crisis has been overwhelming, both physically and emotionally, for Erik and I.
