Hello, my name is Chrissy Smith, and I’m creating this GoFundMe after a devastating car accident that has turned our lives upside down. My husband and I were driving to his job when a State Trooper, involved in a high-speed chase, crossed into our lane and hit our vehicle head-on. The troopers were driving on our side of the road, and the impact was severe. As a result of the accident, we have suffered physical injuries and emotional trauma, and our vehicle was totaled. My husband broke his leg and hand. I also broke one of my hands. We have four children to take care of and support. My husband was simply on his way to work, and in a moment, everything changed.

We are now facing mounting medical bills, missed work, and everyday expenses for us and our children while trying to recover and navigate what comes next. This fundraiser is to help cover medical bills and ongoing treatment, lost wages due to time away from work, transportation and basic living expenses, and unexpected costs related to the accident.
