Two nights ago, I was in a car accident after leaving a friend's house. I was exhausted from working long hours, and the roads were wet. I blinked for just a second, and when I opened my eyes, I was moments away from hitting a tree. The airbags deployed, and while I walked away with minor scrapes and bruises, my body is still hurting and my car is badly damaged. My ego took a hit too, but I'm grateful things weren't worse.
As if that wasn't enough, my partner Avery has been battling a severe stomach infection. He's been vomiting continuously for days, and we've had to make several trips to the ER. Now, Avery is in the hospital, and I don't know what kind of medical bills we'll be facing from his stay. Even our dog Louie is feeling the effects of all this stress—it's been a tough time for our whole family.
With my car out of commission, I can't get to work and will be losing wages. The pain from the accident is making everything harder, and the uncertainty around Avery's health and the medical expenses is overwhelming. For those who do help out, you know me—I'll be eternally grateful for your support. I know I tend to take on a lot of responsibilities myself, and I'm usually too proud to ask for help in person, but I truly appreciate any support you can give. Your kindness will help us get through this difficult time and back on our feet.
Thank you in advance,
Lanz Adams
