Support After A Devastating Crash
Donation protected
Hi, I am Charmane, and I am raising support for my family and ex-husband. On Friday, January 24th, 2025, a habitual drunk driver struck my sons and my ex-husband, totaling the car and leaving our family in shock and reeling as we grapple with the aftermath of this devastating event. The police on the scene stated that the driver was driving at an irascible speed of 120–140 miles per hour. Physically, my sons and ex-husband sustained minor injuries, but their emotional state remains shaken. My oldest son was driving and had only recently become confident behind the wheel, but now he's been robbed of this. As we try to process what happened, we are also faced with the daunting task of seeking justice for the reckless behavior that put our loved ones in harm's way and my ex-husband finding financial recourse, as this driver was uninsured and had a suspended license. This was my ex-husband's only family vehicle, and now he must navigate the challenges of finding a replacement while dealing with the emotional toll of the situation. To those familiar with our family, we are always giving and never seeking; however, the loss feels insurmountable. I am reaching out for assistance for my ex-husband during this challenging period to help alleviate the strain of lost income, daily necessities, acquiring a new vehicle, and bringing back a sense of normalcy for our family. He would sincerely value any assistance as we all face this unforeseen challenge together.
