My name is Vanessa. I served in Afghanistan as an Air Advisor, working alongside the Afghan Air Force. While I was there, I worked with several amazing interpreters. Each of them was a hard worker who put his or her life on the line for us daily, just by coming to work. Two of these interpreters are safely here in the United States, but need help. Several of their family members have been evacuated or are waiting to be evacuated from Kabul, Afghanistan.

I know many of us feel powerless to do something tangible in this situation, but I am raising money to support their visa costs. Any money raised above that amount will support their families as they resettle in the United States.

They need our help -- please help me support those who did so much for us.
