Support Afghan Girls Through Online Education

Donation protected
For the past five years, Afghan girls have been banned from school.
They have lost not only education—but their dreams, their future, and their hope.
but we are not silent.
WDI Afghanistan online education program is led by Yal, Ayaz and a dedicated team of volunteers inside and outside Afghanistan.
This is a 100% volunteer program, created to keep Afghan girls learning despite Taliban restrictions
Since August 2021:
We started with just 5 students
Today we support more than 178 students and families .
Many more are waiting to join
Classes are via Telegram and Google Meet, with strong attention to safety.
International Support:

We have 9 international volunteer teachers who teach:

English
Computer skills

They are helping Afghan girls prepare for the modern world and build a future.

Every day, we receive messages :
“We don’t have internet. Please help us so we can join classes.”
These girls are ready to learn—but without internet, they are left behind.

What Your Support Help:

1- 113 Students
Each needs up to $20/month for internet

This is their only way to continue education.

2-10 Teachers in Afghanistan:

Living in very difficult conditions

Each receives $50/month as small support

They continue teaching despite risks

20 Vulnerable Families (Female-led)
Women without male support

Facing severe hardship under Taliban restrictions

Each receives $50/month for food and basic needs

Why This Matters
Without education:
Girls face forced marriage
Mental health struggles increase
Some lose hope completely
One mother told us:
“When education stopped, a girl took her own life. This program is hope for our daughters. Please continue.”
This program is not just education—it is hope, dignity, and survival.

What Makes Us Different
We focus on those who need help the most:
Girls with no internet, no devices
Women who cannot work under Taliban rules
Areas with limited electricity (we provide power banks when possible)
We don’t just teach—we make sure they can access learning.

Impact So Far:
some of our students are now studying at university (online)
Some graduates are now teaching others

Students are learning skills to support themselves

Women are receiving support to help their families

How You Can Help:

$20 = internet for 1 girl (1 month)

$50 = support for 1 teacher or 1 family

Your support means:

A girl stays in school

A teacher continues teaching

A family survives

A Message from Yal Bano

“I want to make sure every Afghan girl has a chance to learn—online, offline, in any way possible.

Their future cannot wait.”

Afghan girls need you.

Stand with them.

Together, we can keep hope alive.

For transparency, we want to clearly share how support is managed:
