Over a year ago, we became connected with an Afghan refugee family in Pakistan. It is a young family—a husband, wife, and 5-year-old son. Like many other Afghans, they fled from Afghanistan after the Taliban took over. They were in danger of persecution based on religious beliefs and also their ethnicity if they remained in Afghanistan or were sent back.

Since that time, the Pakistani government, especially in the past year, has been forcefully deporting Afghans back to Afghanistan no matter the dangers posed to them there. This family, along with many others, has been in hiding, living in fear of being arrested and deported to Afghanistan. Thankfully, God has protected them from this fate so far, and we have been asking Him for an open door for them to leave for a safe country.

Just in the past few weeks, this family has now finally been given the chance to interview for resettlement to a safe country as refugees. In order to do this, they must first obtain Pakistani visas, which are not cheap. We need to raise $1,250 to cover the cost of the visas ($1,200) and transaction fees.

Please consider giving so that this beautiful family can find a future in a safe place.
