Support Aedan's Battle Against Cancer

Hello, I’m starting this fundraiser for my good friend Aedan. Here’s his story:

“Hi. My name is Aedan Madrigal. Some of you may know me as your resident Britney and Beyonce stan, others may know me as you friendly neighborhood Bey at the West Des Moines Orange Theory.

Unfortunately, I’ve learned in the last 48 hours that I’ve got a new title, Battler of Cancer. More specifically, battler of adenocarcinoma cancer. It has come on fast and furious in my lymph-nodes and liver. I’ve finally gotten an oncologist who I’m seeing.

I started noticing some digestive issues in February 2024 and by March and April I couldn’t keep anything down. It took awhile and a lot of tests, but I finally got my diagnosis on June 12, 2024. I’ve lost 75 pounds since this has all started.

While I’m grateful that my single mother has been able to come to Iowa all the way from Louisiana to be my caregiver and although I have not started treatment yet, but with how aggressive it is, I know it’s going to create a cost burden.

So, this is difficult for me, as I tend to live like my girl Beyonce, as an Independent Woman, but I’d appreciate anything you may have the ability to give as I start this journey to be stronger than yesterday.”
