Help Give Adults with Disabilities a Great Opportunity!

I have been fortunate to be able to get to work with individuals with developmental delays.

An area of need that often gets overlooked is how do we keep the young adults with developmental delays involved with peers, recreation, and community activities after they are no longer in the school system.

It is for this reason, I would like to raise money to create an exciting opportunity for them and also to help support these areas of need.

The opportunity that you would be supporting would be to help to pay the expenses for the young adults to participate in a Mardi Gras parade. The funds would help pay for the float, the insurance, and uniform/t-shirt so that they can participate in a local Mardi Gras parade.

Not only would the young adults appreciate your support for this project, it would allow for greater visibility of populations that typically don't get to participate in these events. I would like to work on changing this.
