Support Adryana's Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity

Hi everyone,

This summer, I’ve been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rica through a program called Tropical Forest Ecology and Development. It’s a hands-on learning experience focused on sustainability, global development, and environmental justice — all things I’m deeply passionate about and have worked so hard to pursue.

It’s something I’ve dreamed of and earned, but right now, I’m in a tough place.

As many of you know, losing my grandma this year has been incredibly hard on our family — emotionally and financially. My parents have been doing everything they can to stay afloat with the weight of funeral expenses and the rising cost of living. They've always shown up for me, even when it’s meant sacrificing their own comfort.

What they don’t know is that I’m trying to quietly raise funds on my own to cover this opportunity — because I don’t want to put any more pressure on them. They’ve already been through so much, and I want to do my part to ease their load.
