Support Adrienne Foon After the Pacific Palisades Fire
Donation protected
On January 7, 2025, our friend, artist, Adrienne Foon, left her home of 28 years to go to the Chiropractor. A normal moment in Adrienne's life turned into unimaginable loss. The Palisades fire took absolutely everything she had--her art, her supplies, every item of clothing and all her belongs--quotidian necessities and sacred objects she'd spent years collecting. The photo above shows what is left of Adrienne's building.
We don't feel that we can do much except advocate for those whose world disappeared in an instant and who do not have vast resources to rebuild their lives. Many people do not have fire insurance—they simply cannot afford it or their carriers have dropped them because of the rising costs of climate change. We hope that you will consider donating to our friend Adrienne Foon and to others who have survived such unimaginable loss. One of the kindest and most generous people, Adrienne has devoted her life supporting others. This time we hope that the community can help support her.
A Few Pieces of Adrienne's Art Lost in the Fire
Who We Are:
My name is Beth Keegan. I am working with accomplished film and television composer, Lisbeth Scott, on this fundraiser. We are both Malibu residents who have witnessed the apocalyptic devastation of the Pacific Palisades fire and the human costs of this tragedy. Despite what people may think, not all residents of the Palisades are wealthy. Many have lived in the Palisades for decades, long before it became a celebrity haven. Adrienne Foon is one of those people and she needs our help.
Please note that donations will go towards non-covered expenses.
