Support Adrielle's Battle Against Neuroendocrine Cancer

In the Fall of 2024, Adrielle's medical challenges began with a skin issue that led to a diagnosis of EMPD (Extramammary Paget's Disease), a rare cancer. Due to its complex location, surgery was tricky, prompting a trip from Houston to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, which specializes in this type of cancer.

During the process of scheduling and traveling for her Paget's disease treatment, additional tests revealed an unexpected and shocking discovery: masses in her lower right lung and lymph nodes along the trachea, despite Adrielle having no symptoms.

After successfully removing the Paget's disease in late December 2024 at the Mayo Clinic, further advanced screenings at MD Anderson in Houston confirmed that these new masses were neuroendocrine tumors. Devastatingly, these tumors had already spread to her bones and liver, with reports indicating "10+" tumors in her liver alone. Due to the widespread nature of the cancer, surgery was no longer an option. In January 2025, Adrielle immediately began treatment with Somatuline®, hoping to halt or shrink the tumors.

By June 2025, Adrielle developed a persistent cough and wheezing, and scans revealed that the cancer in her lymph nodes had grown, constricting her breathing. As Somatuline® was not effective, her oncologist prescribed a two-week course of radiation, to be followed by several rounds of targeted chemotherapy.

The financial burden of Adrielle's extensive treatment is significant. While our insurance has an $8,500 maximum deduction, which we've met for both 2024 (for Paget's disease) and 2025, we are still responsible for $50 co-pays per doctor visit and all travel expenses. To date, we have spent at least $20,000 on treatments.

Through this challenging time, Adrielle and I are also supporting our two daughters, aged 11 and 13 and trying to maintain a sense of normalcy despite the difficult reality.

Any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated and will be solely dedicated to Adrielle's fight against cancer. Any surplus funds will be directed towards research to eradicate this disease.
