Help Us Support Adrian in His Fight Against Cancer

On February 13, 2023, our world was shattered when Adrian was diagnosed with Stage IV Small Cell Carcinoma of the Bladder. Throughout his courageous battle, Adrian was declared disease-free in July 2023. Sadly, our worst fears were realized on February 2, 2024, when we learned the cancer had returned and spread.

In May, we received the heart-wrenching news that Adrian has 6-12 months to live. To manage his condition, Adrian had to stop working and begin an aggressive chemotherapy regimen, the most toxic available, to hopefully slow the cancer's progression and keep him comfortable. Alongside this, he has faced additional challenges, including two hospitalizations for infections and a diagnosis of Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that occurs when the body's immune system attacks the peripheral nervous system.

This once strong 220-pound man now struggles to walk from our bedroom to the living room, and on some days, he cannot leave the bed.

The mounting medical bills are overwhelming. We urgently need to install a wheelchair ramp at the front of our house, which insurance does not cover. The cost for this essential modification is a little over $5,000, and any funds raised will first go toward this expense. After that, we will use the donations to help manage his ongoing medical costs. Additionally, I am rapidly exhausting my PTO as I take time off work to be by Adrian's side during this difficult time.
