Support Adrianne’s Recovery: Help a Healer Heal

Last year was a milestone for Adrianne Campbell. After years of dedication, she completed her Master’s in Psychology at UBC and launched a successful private practice in September 2025. She was finally doing the work she loved—helping others navigate their mental health.

Tragically, the "healer" now needs our help. Recently, Adrianne suffered a massive MCA (Middle Cerebral Artery) stroke. While she was able to receive life-saving clot-retrieval surgery and emergency medication in time, the road ahead is steep. The stroke has left her with significant mobility issues on her left side, and she faces an indefinite period of intensive rehabilitation.

What makes this even more painful is that for over a year, Adrianne’s quality of life had been slowly diminishing. Despite our best efforts to advocate for her, her concerns were repeatedly dismissed by medical professionals—until the unthinkable happened. While the exact cause is still being investigated, she is facing upcoming surgeries to place stents in her carotid arteries and requires ongoing, high-level monitoring and testing.

As a self-employed practitioner, Adrianne’s income stopped the moment the stroke occurred. She does not qualify for EI, and the thriving practice she built has had to be put on hold indefinitely. She is not only fighting for her health but is also facing the loss of the base of clientele she worked so hard to establish. It may take a year or more for her to regain the functionality and mobility needed to return to her work.

How Your Donation Helps Recovery from a massive stroke is a marathon, not a sprint. The costs of "life support" and rehabilitation are overwhelming. Your contributions will go directly toward:
