One day, Adriane was doing what she loved, teaching Kundalini yoga, helping others heal, and living her life with purpose and compassion. On February 14th, she had a devastating accident and was rushed into emergency surgery. Nothing prepares you for that phone call. Nothing prepares you to see someone you love in that much pain. She was in the hospital for 5 days before she was stable enough to come home. The surgery was successful, leaving her with a metal plate and several screws in her tibia. She now faces a long, painful recovery. She cannot stand, she cannot teach, and she cannot work. The career she built with so much love and dedication is suddenly out of reach while her body tries to heal.
But the world doesn’t stop when tragedy hits.
Rent is still due. Bills are still coming. Medical expenses are already overwhelming and continuing to grow. And with no ability to work, the financial fear has become just as heavy as the physical and emotional pain she is carrying.
As a Kundalini Yoga teacher, movement isn't just her job; it's her passion, her calling, and her livelihood. As a healer and a counselor, my mom has spent her life helping others heal and transform their lives. She has held space for so many people in their hardest moments. She has given her energy, her heart, and her kindness to so many.
Now she needs that same kindness in return.
We are asking for help so my mom can focus on what matters most: healing. Healing her body. Healing her spirit. And one day, returning to the life and community she loves so deeply. Because of the severity of her injury, she is unable to work for 6-8 weeks (possibly longer). She is now bedridden with a full leg brace and has very limited movement. She needs all of her meals prepared, her dog to be walked, and even a trip from the bed to the bathroom is exhausting and requires using a walker and assistance. This GoFundMe has been created to help with financial needs while she recovers, such as medical expenses, rent & food, utility bills, and basic living expenses.
If you are able to give, any amount truly helps, thank you. If you can't donate, sharing this page means just as much. We deeply appreciate all of the positive thoughts, healing energy, and prayers.
Every bit of support reminds her that she is not alone in this. Thank you for loving our family during this unexpected time. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of her healing. We will update this page with her progress and updates on her recovery.
Love,
Ayah Wolf
