Support for the Funeral and Burial of Our Brother in Islam, Adrian Cheles

Our dear brother in Islam Adrian Cheles has passed away on February 9, 2025. He embraced Islam by his own will, pronouncing the Shahada and living among the Muslim community for many years. Though originally from Romania, he spent over 40 years in Rochester, USA, where he built strong bonds with Arab and Muslim brothers. He even spoke many Arabic words, such as Shukran, Akhi, Insha’Allah, and Sabah Al-Khair, and he loved Moroccan and Arabic food.

As his extended Muslim family, it is our duty to ensure he receives a proper Islamic burial. We humbly ask for your support in covering his funeral expenses and fulfilling this final right.

The funeral service will be held at the Islamic Center of Rochester on

Friday, February 14, 2025. (After the 2nd Jumaa)

May Allah reward you all for your generosity and grant Brother Adrian mercy and Jannah.
