My name is Adrean Williams, and I proudly serve as the Clerk Craft Director Assistant B for APWU Chicago Local 0001, representing members at the CIMSC facility and throughout our local’s jurisdiction.

I am also a single mother, doing my best every day to balance raising my children while dedicating myself to serving our members, stewards, friends, and family. Many people say I make it look easy, but the truth is—it is not easy. Behind the scenes, it takes constant sacrifice and a great deal of strength to hold everything together.

Those who know me know that I have always shown up for the membership. My track record speaks for itself:

• I have fought for members as a representative in grievance meetings, Step 2 appeals, and arbitration cases.

• I support stewards across tours and facilities, helping them succeed in representing the membership.

• Even when I wasn’t in an official union role, I still supported postal workers, because I truly believe in standing together and lifting each other up.

Let the record show — I continue to give as much as I can to this union and to the members I represent. Now, I am humbly asking for your support to help me continue my journey.

I am raising funds to attend the APWU All Craft Conference in Las Vegas (October 5–9, 2025). This conference is one of the most important union education opportunities, offering training that will make me a stronger advocate for every member I represent. Unfortunately, the Local is unable to sponsor my attendance this year.

Your contribution—no matter the amount—will go directly toward covering the costs of registration, airfare, hotel, meals, and incidentals for the five-day training.
