Hi, my name is Jamela Meziane and following my cousin Adreanne’s request, I’d like to share a bit of her story. If you’ve ever had a family member struggle with mental health, you could attest it can be the most challenging and heartbreaking time for that individual, the family, and friends around them. My cousin Adreanne has struggled with depression since she was 13. Since then, she has been fighting through seasons of depression and grief from the passing of her mother in 2016 and the passing of her best friend in 2023. This year has been one of her worst seasons battling depression.
On May 22, 2025, our family was devastated to receive a call that Adreanne jumped off the Delaware Memorial Bridge in an attempt to end her life. Adreanne was rescued and brought to the ER to undergo emergency surgery. She has sustained injuries which include nerve damage to her right arm, broken ribs, severe bruising throughout her body, and a small crack to her spine. We are praising God for her life because it truly is a miracle she is with us today.
Adreanne is on her road to recovery, currently receiving care for her mental health and is projected to start physical therapy next week at a long-term care facility. There she will regain the strength to walk and revitalize mobility in her right arm, which is currently immobile.
While Adreanne is recovering, this leaves medical and home expenses to her father, Doug, who is a single parent. Funds given would A. financially provide the care that Adreanne needs that is uncovered by insurance and B. help lift the financial weight of one income in the house by providing financial support towards rent and utilities.
Would you consider partnering with us to help the Mollett’s get Adreanne healed and whole? Any amount given is appreciated and would be a blessing.
I want to thank you for taking time to read Adreanne’s story. Thank you for the people who have prayed for Adreanne and my family—we truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
God bless you
