Adora is a junior at Sam Houston University in Texas, pursuing a degree in Music Education. She hopes to become a full time music teacher, learning everything she can about the industry, and one day starting her own music teaching business. She is classically trained in piano and is currently working part-time with kids ages 5-11 to develop their piano skills. In true music fashion, it doesn't just stop at piano. Adora is also a powerhouse vocalist and has been recognized with several music scholarships for her community theater's adaptations of "Rent" and "Hairspray."
Despite her achievements, Adora’s journey hasn’t been easy. She is currently balancing two jobs while maintaining a full-time school schedule, all in pursuit of her dream. She is expected to graduate in Summer 2027, but she needs a little extra support from her community to get there. The funds raised will go directly to her remaining tuition and the books she needs to complete her degree.
Adora is the most incredible young woman. Beyond her musical talents and academic ability, she has a true "go-getter" spirit and immeasurable resilience. She doesn’t come from resources or traditional familial support, but she works hard every day to create a future for herself—one where she can give back to her community and inspire generations to come. The world needs more teachers, more art, music, and theater. Please consider supporting Adora on her journey to an education and a future where she can pay it forward.
