Soon after retiring from work—a milestone she earned after 42 years of dedicated and loyal public service—she was hit with her toughest challenge yet: Breast Cancer.

Adelma’s world revolves around her family, especially her beautiful granddaughter. Whether they are covered in flour while baking treats or curled up together reading a favorite book, those moments are what Adelma lives for. Her granddaughter is her greatest joy, and Adelma is determined to be there for every milestone, every storytime, and every batch of cookies yet to come. The Road Ahead, The journey forward will be difficult. Instead of enjoying the peaceful retirement she so deeply deserves, Adelma must face intensive treatments. With the physical toll of this battle, the financial burden is mounting rapidly. We are starting this fund to help cover Adelma’s medical expenses and daily costs, allowing her to focus entirely on her health, her recovery, and her family.
