The family of Rebekah Strand would like to accept donations to go to a 529 plan account for her beloved daughter, Adeline, for her future education.

Rebekah was diagnosed in early July 2024 with metastatic melanoma. With the help of her parents, she began treatment immediately, but unfortunately it was too late for it to be reversed – it had spread throughout her body including her chest, abdomen, and bones.

On August 29, 2024, we lost an amazing daughter, sister, family member, and friend. But Adeline lost her mother.

Adeline is a sweet, funny, beautiful little girl that is everything her mother ever dreamed of, and more. After years of thinking she would never have children, God gifted Rebekah with the twinkle and giggle of her daughter and we all cherish her more than anything. She is the last physical remnant that we have of Rebekah and we want to continue Rebekah’s hard work in helping Adeline learn and grow.

Teaching Adeline was something that Rebekah did so well and it shows in Adeline’s discovery of the world around her every day. She truly is wonderous to watch, and tough to keep up with – she has all of the energy from her mom taking her to interact with her environment, and she wants to do it all!

Rebekah loved her daughter more than anything in the world and it is now up to us to continue her work and carry her legacy through our efforts and Adeline. We can all do that starting here and now so that in the future Adeline has the ability to chase her dreams in college or beyond.

Any funds donated here will be transferred to a 529 plan that is set up to help pay for Adeline’s post-secondary education.
