Hello, my name is Adelina Mbise and I am a senior at Piedmont High School and a Life Scout in Troop 15. For my Eagle Scout Project I am installing ten nest boxes for the California Bluebird Recovery Program around Lafayette Reservoir.

I am raising $400 to cover the cost of materials and other items needed to build and install the nest boxes. As part of my fundraising, I will complete a one-day birdathon and identify at least 40 different bird species around the Piedmont/Oakland area. I will report my completed bird list to my donors before my project work day on November 25.

I am completing this project to help vulnerable species like Western bluebirds and Tree swallows that naturally nest in dead/decaying trees that are often cut down. I appreciate you donating to my Eagle Scout Project and am excited for installation day!
