Hello Dear Friends, Family & Kind Strangers ~

I’ve never asked anything of you but I want to ask now. Bay Area friends of mine, Addy & Trevor, have family in Jamaica who have been horribly impacted by Hurricane Melissa — their siblings, children and grandchildren. The families live outside of local services, “in the boonies” as Addy says. Roofs were blown off & houses left in shambles. Medical care is scarce. Food is scarce. Work has become scarce. Addy & Trevor's families desperately need generators so that they can maintain connections, money to rebuild their homes & for food & basic supplies . I know many in the U.S. are also hurting because of the huge hit to medical insurance, food insecurity due to aborted SNAP benefits, and even job insecurity, but to those of you who can help even a little (a little goes a long way!), please consider making a contribution to our Go Fund Me campaign. My friends Addy & Trevor are the most caring, lovely people you could ever meet. Truly. They give & give & give of themselves in our country which, frankly, does not always give back.
