Hey, my name is Salvador, and our family needs to raise money for Addi’s medical situation: my kid had never once had the chance to just be a kid, or a teen, or even a young adult, and now after tending my wife (Addi’s mother) through her final years, Addi now needs medical attention.

Story below:

I’m Addi and I’ve been dealing with a great deal of health complications, only exacerbated from the stress our family has been under. We dealt with my mother being gravely ill from 2015-2022 when she died, and it completely bankrupted my father and myself.

I have multiple medical conditions that have not been treated, they’ve been on the back burner as I tried to take care of my parents. It came to a head recently, as I’m unable to work, and unable to financial care for this. My mother had a complex cancer in her chest, neck and throat, and I have abnormal growths in the exact same place in my chest. I’ll need a minimum of 10k for the double mastectomy and reconstruction, as well as the tests and therapy and everything else. I just turned 34 and had my life derailed so many times: my mothers health, I was violently assaulted with a gun and left with ptsd and other issues (and I was in court for years as the states witness in the case), Covid ended my degree program and work, and now this.

I want my first chance at life. I cannot put this off any longer but am unable to pay myself. My life is in the hands of mutual aid.
