Our dear friends, Mason and Taylor Morrison, just welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Addie Lou, into the world—but their journey into parenthood has been filled with unimaginable challenges.

Shortly after Taylor became pregnant, Mason was working on a tugboat when it was tragically wrecked and capsized. Since then, they’ve been navigating the ongoing emotional and financial toll of that accident—while preparing for their first child.

Despite doing everything they could to excitedly prepare for baby Addie Lou’s arrival, Taylor was rushed in for an emergency C-section. When Addie Lou was born, she was not breathing and had to be resuscitated. She was diagnosed with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), a type of brain injury caused by a lack of oxygen during delivery. This is something no parent could ever prepare for and certainly wasn’t news they ever expected.

She was immediately life-flighted to Texas Children’s Hospital, where she is now receiving specialized care in the NICU.

The hospital is several hours away from home, and Taylor and Mason are currently living out of a hotel and doing everything they possibly can to stay close to their baby girl. Between Addie Lou’s medical crisis, the long-term impact of Mason’s accident, lost work, travel, lodging, and other unexpected expenses—they are in urgent need of support.

Your donation will help cover temporary housing, daily living costs, medical bills, and essential needs so that Taylor and Mason can remain by Addie Lou’s side for as long as needed.

They are facing an uncertain and frightening time—but they are holding on to hope. They know we serve a mighty God and through Him alone Addie Lou will heal and recover. In the meantime Please consider donating and sharing their story. Prayers, encouragement, and support of any kind mean the world right now. Please no questions at this time- they are still processing everything and Taylor herself needs lots of time to heal not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well!

Let’s rally around this family and show them they’re not in this alone.
