Addie Koza, my sibling, is currently facing an incredibly difficult financial situation and needs our help to get by while navigating a complex system. Addie was recently laid off from their job at the bakery, and unfortunately, was subsequently denied unemployment benefits. This has left them with zero income. To make matters worse, Addie is also dealing with significant health challenges that prevent them from working in the meantime. Addie has applied for Social Security Disability (SSD) benefits, but as many of you may know, the approval process can take months, sometimes even years. We are currently waiting for that determination, and we have appealed the unemployment decision.
