Hello everyone. Today we learned some heartbreaking news that Addie has suffered another torn ACL. She is currently unable to bear weight on her right hind leg and needs assistance getting onto furniture and navigating stairs.

Addie is only four years old, and this injury greatly affects her comfort and quality of life. She experienced a similar injury to her other leg in 2023 and made a full recovery after surgery. Unfortunately, the cost of surgery is significant, and recovery requires 16 weeks of continuous care and restricted activity.

We are fully committed to pursuing surgery, as Addie is an important member of our family and this offers her the best chance at regaining mobility and long term comfort.
