Help Support Addi and Her Mom
I’m reaching out to share the story of a little girl who means so much to me. Addianna (“Addi”) is a bright, funny, and strong 3-year-old who I had the joy of caring for when she attended the preschool where I work. Her smile could light up any room, and her personality was bigger than life.
Addi was recently diagnosed with DIPG—Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma—a rare and aggressive brain tumor that primarily affects young children. It develops in an area of the brainstem that controls vital functions like breathing, heart rate, and movement. Because of its location and nature, DIPG is inoperable, and there is currently no known cure.
Addi is now in hospice care, spending her remaining days surrounded by the love of her family.
Her mom, Tara, is no longer working so she can be by Addi’s side full time. I’m raising funds to help ease some of the financial burden—from basic living expenses to anything that might bring them comfort during this time.
If you’re able to donate, please know it will go directly to Tara to support her and Addi. If you’re not in a position to give, sharing this page and keeping them in your prayers means just as much.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support!
