Hello Family and friends. My name is Monique Esparza. I am a close friend to Unique and Carlos.

On Friday July 19th, their sweet little boy Adan unexpectedly had multiple seizures and was rushed by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Hospital. Soon after arriving, he was rushed to Valley Children’s. Over the weekend he was still having seizures and no medication would help stop them. They had said Monday he would need to see Neurology and have an MRI done. Here comes Monday, they were praying and hoping they would receive answers, when things turned for the worse. Adan had to be put into a medically induced coma and put into ICU.

Since Adan has been in the hospital, Unique has not left his side. Carlos has been driving from their home in Tulare to Madera every day to be by their side. They also have two daughters, ages 14 and 15. The girls love their baby brother so much. They are so devastated and heartbroken on what is going on with their baby brother. They have also been at the hospital by their parents and brother’s side.

We are asking for your help during this difficult time. Carlos is their main source of income and he is currently not working while he is at their son’s bedside. They will need help with bills, meals, essentials etc. Any amount is very much appreciated.
