Five years ago, I opened Adanne Bookshop with a simple mission: to create a space centered around books, creativity, and community.

Over the years, Adanne has become so much more than a bookstore. It has become a gathering place. A third space. A place where people have discovered new authors, attended workshops, joined book clubs, and found community.

Today, I'm asking for help.

This is one of the most vulnerable things I've ever shared because the challenge isn't that Adanne isn't working.

The challenge is that I can no longer sustain it by myself.

For years, I have worn every hat imaginable—owner, bookseller, event planner, workshop facilitator, social media manager, and community builder.

I am proud of what we've built, but I've reached a point where I know that for Adanne to continue, it cannot depend on one person.

I'm raising funds to support the sustainability of Adanne through the end of the year.

The funds will be used to:

Hire qualified part-time support

Cover rent through the end of the year

Strengthen operations and create long-term sustainability

This isn't about saving a bookstore.

It's about preserving a space that has become home to so many.
